Henry Livingston invented the first water-based medium that could go from fluidity to heavy texture. He decided to call it Liquid Texture, or Liquitex. His idea was a hit and the first commercially available fluid acrylic colors known as soft body paints were developed. The first heavy bodied acrylics followed in 1963.

Gesso Primers

This soft body, all purpose medium can be mixed into any acrylic paint.
