Let’s Have A Painting Party!

Looking for some new and creative ideas for painting? Why not get together with a few friends and have a Painting Party! Everyone has different ideas and you can inspire each other. There are so many ways to have a Paint Party and all of them are entertaining, exciting, and bring out new ways to create! Let’s get into a few different Paint Party Ideas and I’d love to hear your suggestions as well because I’m always trying to think of new ideas for painting and FUN!

Wine Paint Party

This is a sociable way to express your creativity and even meet new people. It could be close friends or friends can bring friends or you can have it open to the public. People can bring their own beverage and munchies to share, paint, brushes, and canvas. They can paint whatever they want...see Painting Picture Ideas for subjects to paint, or everyone can paint the same thing.

This could grow into something really exciting like a weekly event that you or an experienced artist can host and charge a price and supply all the wine, snacks, paint, brushes, and canvases. There are endless ways to have a Wine Paint Party. Let your imagination run away with you. If the wine is flowing freely, the paint on the brush is sure to flow freely as well.

Pool Paint Party

It’s a hot summer day and all you want to do is go swimming, get a tan, and Paint! POOL PAINT PARTY!! Invite all your artistic friends and have a barbecue too! A few cold ones maybe or some ice cold lemonade or iced tea, and refreshing watermelon for dessert. Ah… it doesn’t get much better than that.

Birthday Paint Party

Out of all the different Birthday Party Ideas like pinata, bob for apples, pin the tail on the donkey, etc., I think Birthday Paint Party is one of the best ideas. You can buy some little wood plaques or collect some smooth rocks to paint on and the children will have a nice piece of artwork to take home. It’s something they will enjoy and remember for the rest of their life. Just make sure to let the parents know in advance so the kids can wear old clothes that they don’t mind getting paint on. Even though acrylic paint is easy to clean up when still wet, with soap and water, it will be a lot more difficult once the paint has dried on their clothing.

Kids Paint Party

A great way to get the kids involved with something creative and let them express themselves is a Kids Paint Party. I don’t know any kid that doesn’t like to paint! They will stay entertained and have fun for hours. You can paint inside or bring everything outside on a nice day, cover the picnic table with a drop cloth and set up out there. The whole paint mess will stay outside and not in the house. They can even clean up outside too at the outdoor water spigot. It will be tons of fun! Once again here, make sure the children wear old clothes that are OK to get paint on.

Community Fundraiser Paint Party

This is a great way to fund a charity or a good cause in your community. Calculate the cost of supplies, the instructor, refreshments, and advertising. Then set an affordable price for the tickets. You could hand out flyers at churches and schools, and run an ad in the local newspaper. Post it on social media and see if you can put up flyers at grocery stores and at the shopping mall, etc. All the profits will go to the charity or whatever the good cause is. Everyone will have fun, get to be creative, have a beautiful painting to take home, and most of all feel good about themselves.

Holiday Gift Paint Party

Adults and children of all ages can benefit in some way from this great idea. Grandparents especially love hand made gifts from grandchildren and Moms and Dads do too! You could even have a Work Christmas Paint Party where everyone will go home with a gift they can give or a keepsake for themselves. The ideas and possibilities are endless. I'd love to get some ideas from you! Please leave them in the comments section and check back soon for some fun idea.
